Building with Resilience

Building With Resilience is an initiative committed to supporting fire-impacted communities and advancing safer, more sustainable practices for building and rebuilding homes, commercial structures, and infrastructure. This initiative focuses on helping communities better withstand changing climate patterns and natural disasters. We advocate for the use of non-combustible construction materials through legislative action, regulatory measures, and insurance incentives. Our mission is to raise public awareness, foster cross-sector collaboration, and advance construction practices that protect lives, homes, and the future of California.

Building With Resilience is a collaborative effort led by four key organizations committed to stronger, safer, and more sustainable communities.

  • Build With Strength
  • California Construction and Industrial Materials Association (CalCIMA)
  • California Nevada Cement Association (CNCA)
  • National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA)
