    ICCF systems can be incorporated into most residential designs, but it’s helpful to plan for slightly thicker wall assemblies compared to traditional wood framing. Early coordination ensures proper detailing for structural performance, insulation continuity, and openings for windows and doors. 
  2. Connect with a manufacturer:
    ICCF systems vary by manufacturer, with each offering unique composite form materials and installation methods. Manufacturers can provide design guidance, technical resources, and recommendations for qualified professionals familiar with their systems. 
  3. Engage with your contractor:
    While ICCF construction is efficient, it benefits from contractors who understand concrete placement, reinforcement, and the specific form system being used. Many manufacturers offer training or certification programs to help builders deliver high-quality results.
